Ghana Bauxite Company Limited (GBC) is the first and only operating bauxite mining Company in Ghana. It owns bauxite resources covering an area of 29.39km²  at the Awaso  enclave in the Western North Region of Ghana. The Company exports at an average 1.2 million tonnes of high – grade trihydrate bauxite per annum.
