Ghana Bauxite Company Limited (GBC) is the first and only operating bauxite mining Company in Ghana. It owns bauxite resources covering an area of 29.39km2  at the Awaso  enclave in the Western North Region of Ghana. The Company exports at an average 1.2 million tonnes of high – grade trihydrate bauxite per annum.
