Our Health & Safety Committee, the membership of which cut across all levels of employees, deals with environment, health and safety issues and sits twice a month.
The Company is thus fully aware that occupational injury and ill-health are associated with lower levels of productivity, poor work motivation, low levels of job satisfaction, lower levels of involvement in capital equipment and technology and higher levels of environmental pollution and poor product quality.

Improvements to occupational safety and health would not only benefit employees but also contribute to raising the quality of life of the general population and to fostering economic development. We, in Ghana Bauxite, ensure safe and healthy conditions for our employees by constantly reminding each other on the need to abide by the laid down rules, regulations and policies of the Health & Safety Committee.
